NEW Betty
and Tony’s Breakfast Menu We have
found some new recipes we like, but if you remember one from before and want it let us know! Your choice of starting anytime between 8:30 and 9:30 am. Betty’s choice of home baked goods - croissants, muffins, scones
or breads. Served with butter, jam, marmalade, etcA variety of juices. Your choice of beverage - Coffee, Tea or Chocolate.
Your
choice of first course: Fruit Choice of cold cereals or hot porridge. Nothing
Your choice of a main entree from Tony’s Griddle: Bacon and Eggs (Tony usually adds sausage, mushroom,
baked beans, fried bread, tomato and potato). * Pancakes
and Maple Syrup (Pancakes come with sausage and bacon).* Potato Pancakes trimmed with sour cream, apple and cranberry sauce and served with bacon
and sausage. Banana and Chocolate Chip
Pancakes served with real maple syrup.*
Or your choice from Betty’s Bakery: New Crustless Quiche which can vary day by day. Changed
slightly Baked Orange French Toast. Betty’s latest version of a house favourite made with orange juice, cranberries
and almonds served with bacon and maple orange sauce.* Baked
Cheese Omelette It comes with bacon or ham, mushrooms and tomato.* Eggs Benedict 1 or 2 poached eggs and ham topped with Hollandaise Sauce on a split English
Muffin. Please indicate how many eggs. Poached
Eggs on Toast. Or tostada brushetta (New). Plain and simple. *
If
you are still hungry top up with a choice of toasts, jams, peanut butter, honey, Bovril or Marmite.
We ask guests to fill in a choice sheet and
leave it on the kitchen table by early evening. If a guest forgets then breakfast will
be ready at 9:00 am and will be a full English breakfast. Guests choose a start
time between 8:30 and 9:30 am. If guests require an earlier breakfast we will do our best to accommodate them. A new choice
sheet is placed in your room every day of your visit. If we forget, just ask us for one please. If guests
are ready earlier in the morning they come and join us in the kitchen for a coffee. there are rocking chairs which are very
comfortable and we can chat while we work. Please note
that for winter weekends, and occassionally at other times, the items marked with an asterisk will only be offered.
